Throughout 2014, Script This provided development expertise to Cisco Systems in conjuction with Sky Deutschland to produce software for Set-Top-Boxes. Responsibilities centred around development and bug fixing of the Sky Anytime Interactive Application deployed to thousands of German and Austrian STB subscribers for streaming HD content to their homes.

Built using Flash and Actionscript 2 for the embedded MacBlue player, we implemented new features to monitor and playback downloaded (BDL) and smooth streaming (ABR) content as well on-screen error handling and UI prompts for the different styles of playback. These features and fixes were successfully delivered per specificiation within the time constraints provided and subsequently rolled out to over 500,000 boxes in the same year.
